Milwaukee® Tool continues to deliver hand tool solutions for the trades with the introduction of the Tradesman ⅜” Ratchet Set.
Delivering ultimate versatility and access, the new ratchet set features a ratchet with pivoting head and patented proprietary sockets.
“Today, most professionals in the mechanical, electrical and plumbing trades rely on socket sets that were designed with automotive applications in mind, and carry several socket sizes that they will rarely, if ever use,” said Jacek Stankiewicz, Junior Product Manager for Milwaukee® Tool.
“With 8 core sizes and 3 core accessories included in our new 12 pc kit, this set is perfect for the mechanical trades and gives them the versatility they need. With a slim-profile ratchet that features a pivoting head that can be used as a ratchet, a nut driver, or any angle in between, this set was designed to use when working overhead or in tight spots where access between the bolt and fitting can be challenging.”
In addition, Milwaukee® introduces new proprietary sockets with this set that feature a parallel flat design for wrench compatibility and to deter rolling, as well as an optimized geometry to reduce stripping and breaking. Because socket sizes can often be hard to see on chrome and can fade more quickly when laser etched, socket sizes are hard-stamped into 2 flats of the socket for readability from multiple angles. For further utility, the kit is stored in a soft-sided carrying case that includes a socket rail to keep sockets and accessories organized, both on and off the jobsite.
