Milwaukee® Introduces the Most Versatile Flood Light for Every Task

Milwaukee Tool continues to expand their Lighting Solutions with the introduction of the M18™ PAL Pivoting Area Light.

Milwaukee Tool continues to expand their Lighting Solutions with the introduction of the M18 PAL Pivoting Area Light.

DESIGNED FOR TRADES THAT ARE CONSTANTLY ON THE MOVE, THE NEW LIGHT FEATURES A 2” SPRING-LOADED CLAMP AND POWERFUL MAGNETS THAT ALLOW USERS TO TURN VIRTUALLY ANY JOBSITE SURFACE INTO A HANGING SURFACE AND ILLUMINATE WHATEVER THEY NEED TO WITH IT’S ROTATING, FOLDING HEAD.

“By leveraging our leadership in cordless and LED technology, we’ve been able to provide flood lighting solutions that deliver on the durability, performance, and portability that halogen lights have historically failed to achieve,” said Gaetano Martines, Product Manager for Milwaukee Tool. “Not only does the new M18 PAL Pivoting Area Light build on this offering by replacing halogen work lights, it’s also the most versatile flood light to-date. Adaptable to almost any lighting situation through its rotating light head design, integrated magnets and a tool-free mounting mechanism also allow it to mount to any surface, on any site, for any task.”

The rotating, folding head of the M18 PAL Pivoting Area Light quickly directs light to where it is needed most without moving the light itself. A magnetic base allows users to stick the Flood Light to metal surfaces such as steel studs, electrical boxes, ductwork, and job boxes with a holding strength of over 25 lbs. A 2” spring- loaded reinforced clamp makes it quick and easy to mount to other common surfaces like work carts, wood studs, scissor lifts, ladders, and more. This larger capacity clap also allows it to fit over doors, rough-in lumber, and larger piping. With the ability to rest in 5 different positions, it can also direct light in multiple directions and angles

Capable of providing up to 1500 lumens of light, the new M18PAL Pivoting Area Light can illuminate large workspaces for up to 20 hours on a single charge. The Flood Light features TRUEVIEW Technology, which utilizes the most advanced LED technology and optical designs to deliver a consistent beam, optimized colour temperature, and true representation of colours and detail leading to a more productive work area.

A durable high impact polycarbonate lens design can survive harsh jobsite conditions and, when paired with the Flood Light’s rubber over mold, can survive 2.7 metre drops. Additionally, with an IP54 rating, the Flood Light is protected from dust and water.

For added utility, a handle/tie-off zone allows it to be easily carried or tethered while use on a scissor lift.

Milwaukee® is committed to improving productivity by providing performance-driven and trade-focused solutions so users can perform an entire day’s work on one battery system. This new tool is fully compatible with the entire M18 line, now offering more than 120 power tool solutions.

Through their continued investments in game-changing technology, Milwaukee® will remain relentless in the design and development of lighting solutions with the ability to adapt, perform and survive the demands of professional use.
