Milwaukee® M18 FUEL™ SUPER HAWG® POWERS THROUGH 152 MM HOLES.

Milwaukee Tool delivers ground-breaking performance with the introduction of a cordless right angle drill that will not only power through 152 mm holes, but can drill over 75 holes with a 65 mm auger bit per charge for a completely cordless rough in. Optimised for Plumbing and HVAC applications, the M18 FUEL™ SUPER HAWG® is the first cordless tool of its kind, delivering game-changing productivity for professionals drilling with up to 117 mm self-feed bits and up to 152 mm hole saws.

“WHEN WE LAUNCHED THE AWARD-WINNING M18 FUEL™ HOLE HAWG® LAST YEAR THAT IS OPTIMISED FOR DRILLING APPLICATIONS, WE PROMISED TO DELIVER AN INNOVATIVE SOLUTION THAT IS OPTIMISED FOR LARGER DIAMETER HOLE DRILLING IN THE NEAR FUTURE” SAYS SENDI SPOLJARIC, SR. PRODUCT MANAGER FOR CORDLESS TOOLS. “ONE YEAR LATER, WE ARE EXCITED TO NOT ONLY KEEP THAT PROMISE, BUT OFFER A SOLUTION THAT WILL COMPLETELY ELIMINATE THE NEED TO USE GENERATORS AND EXTENSION CORDS ON THE JOBSITE.”

As with all M18 FUEL™ products, the new SUPER HAWG® was engineered for the most demanding trades in the world. Delivering unrivaled performance, M18 FUEL™ products feature three Milwaukee®-exclusive innovations — the POWERSTATE™ brushless motor, REDLITHIUM-ION™ battery pack and REDLINK PLUS™ intelligence that deliver unmatched performance, durability and run-time.

The POWERSTATE™ brushless motor works harder, lives longer, and converts energy into power more efficiently. This gives the M18 FUEL™ SUPER HAWG® the ability to power through large diameter holes. The motor is completely designed, engineered and built by Milwaukee Tool to deliver years of maintenance-free performance with no wearable components, no losses due to vibration and less heat build-up.

REDLINK PLUS™ intelligence is the most advanced electronic system on the market. This electronics package protects the motor and gear box from damage by shutting the tool down in stall situations that can occur when impacting a nail or drilling through dense materials. It integrates full-circle communication between tool, battery and charger to protect them from overloading, overheating, and over-discharging. These advanced electronics also help maintain ideal conditions for maximum application performance.

Milwaukee REDLITHIUM-ION™ batteries provide up to 2.5x more run-time and recharges than standard Lithium-Ion batteries, delivering 75 holes with 65 mm auger bit per charge. With Milwaukee® durability built into each pack, the REDLITHIUM-ION™ battery operates cooler and performs in climates below -20°C with fade free power. A battery fuel gauge also displays remaining charge for less down time on the job.

In addition, the M18 FRADH model features a new-to-world QUIK-LOK™ chuck. This proprietary chuck provides a keyless, one-handed bit change for most augers, self-feed bits and hole saws with flat or groove 7/16” shanks, as well as 3-flats bits. The tool is also equipped with a mechanical clutch in low gear to protect the tool in case of bind-up.

Available in January of 2016, the new M18 FUEL™ SUPER HAWG® is a true testament to Milwaukee®’s focus on the user and investment in game changing technology.
