THE NEXT GENERATION OF TRADESMEN

AT MILWAUKEE® WE ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT PROVIDING THE BEST AND MOST EFFICIENT SOLUTIONS TO THOSE ON THE JOBSITE. A LARGE NUMBER OF TRADESMEN START OUT AS AN APPRENTICE, LEARNING THEIR TRADE.

Milwaukee® has followed the journey of 3 apprentices, across 3 different trades to learn about their career progression, challenges they have faced and why they have followed their chosen path.

TIBBY SINGH CHODHA, CARPENTRY APPRENTICE

I first started out I bought some low cost tools and persevered with them, however, I quickly realised that I needed to invest in more powerful, heavy duty tools. I felt like I was getting behind on the jobsite, this really motivated me to save up so I could get a good kit together. The turning point for me came when I was working on a roof project and my batteries kept running out quickly. I hired a Milwaukee® Circular Saw; the battery powered on for the whole day and I got the job done in record time. Since then I was converted to build up my own Milwaukee® kit.

DANIEL POOL, PLUMBING APPRENTICE

I have come to realise that this is a premium product and has taught me that investing in a good kit is essential for any tradesman, right from the start. I would strongly encourage any fellow apprentice to do the same because you really do get what you pay for and may even be the last tool you will have to buy.

GEORGE MAYNARD, ELECTRICIAN APPRENTICE

I started off buying a twin pack including the M18 SDS plus and a percussion drill which made drilling and fixing in domestic installations a breeze. The drills are still in use until this day and haven’t once let me down after 4 years of use and abuse. I am currently working for a renewable energy firm installing solar PV and Biomass boilers in commercial and Industrial situations and still to this day use Milwaukee® M18 range to carry out my work with.
